Where to buy cheap home theatre stands??

Where is the cheapest site to buy speaker stands? I got my first home theatre set-up (low budget) and need some stands for the front and back.

Any help is appreciated!!1

I guess that depends what your definition of "cheap" is.

Try this

Wood Technologies Stands are about as good as you are gonna get for as cheap as you're gonna get.

This is the cheapest place that I found to get them from. I had no problems with my order.

check out cicuit city. they've got some pretty cheap fake wood models. Prolly around the same price as the URL above.

Go to a craft store and see if you can find some unpainted plaster columns.

Less than a month or two ago, I posted about Sanus stands I found at Best Buy and on crutchfield.com for $50. Adjustable, and they have a small footprint. I like 'em. Do a search, and you'll find the thread.

I know your on a budget, but don't go TOO cheap. Stands can make a LARGE difference in the sound. Try to get something solid. I prefer stands you can fill with lead shot (or sand if saving money). Also try to "couple" the speakers to the stands. My favorite way is actually pretty cheap. Get some of that blue tacky, silly puddy type stuff from an art store (used to hang light weight photos). It stays soft yet really sticks (w/o messing up the finish of a speaker or stand).

I am now using a set of 4 small tables which I got at Costco as my speaker stands. Can't beat the price though, 26.99 plus tax for 4.

Or if you want really cheap stack some cinderblocks up and put the speakers on top, works really good
