Settings on Toshiba 32A42 ???
 

I just bought the new Toshiba 32" TV that, I believe, replaced the well-regarded 32A41. Looked great in the store, brought it home, set it up and it still looked great, even at the factory settings. I wanted to adjust the settings as best I could until I was able to use the Avia or Home Theater adjustment DVDs.

The factory presets were, of course, ridiculous: Contrast 100, Brightness 50 etc . . . What really shocked me were some of the supposed "correct" settings that some people were suggesting on some other Home Theater boards. Most said to put the contrast at 30 or 35. I tried it and could barely tell what program was on (BTW, I did make the other adjustments suggested).

Here's the question. Does anyone have any advice as to what settings I should use until I can do it the right way ?
