question about what to do with a broken dvd player???

I have a dvd player (sony dvp-s560D) that stopped working a week ago, I took it to be serviced at an "official" sony place, and they said it was gonna be like $240.00 to fix. It's not worth it, So i wonder what to do with the broken player. Is there somewhere that would buy t, Should i just list it on ebay or what

On topic though...I don't think there is much of a market for a broken DVD player...one thing you could do is take it to a repair shop that also sells equipment and see if they will give you a couple of bucks for it...because they can fix it for themselves cheap or even free and re-sale it.
