looking for best DVD player for $150 at CC

I have a $40 credit at CC and I finally want to buy a DVD player. I have a 32" Toshiba Flat Screen and DTS/DD Denon A/V receiver with 5.1

I figured I don't want to spend more than $100 of my own money, cuz I'm not a movie fanatic. Every now and then I'd like to rent a movie and listen to it in surround sound with a good picture quality. I was looking at the Sony single DVD player with optical audio for around $150. Thanks for your input!

I highly recommend the Panasonic RV32 which sells at circuitcity.com for $149.99

Note that this player only has a optical output (no digital coax).

Are you referring to the Sony NS315? I don't know too much about it, but I also think it sounds like a good choice.

At this price it really gets down to a commodity so just go and look at thinks like the remote (which you have to live with) and the looks of the face.

Assuming you want to run straight to the TV, if your TV accepts component that is the best way.

Good player. My parents own two of them.

You could also spend $30 and get the RP-62 for the day you upgrade to HDTV.
