Sony KP-51HW40 or Toshiba 50HX81?

Sony KP-51HW40 or Toshiba 50HX81?
I've all but narrowed down my HDTV selection to the 2 sets mentioned in the subject title.
Sony: KP-51HW40 @ 51"
or the
Toshiba 50HX81 @ 50"
They both fit my requirements pretty well, and just weigh in at the very limit of my spending budget.... I can't go any larger because of space limitations in my room (as documented HERE ).
I doubt that i would be dispointed with either set, but would like to make the most educated choice as possible. Anyone care to leave some impressions on either set?

also,
I've heard a lot about the 540p upconversion the 50hx81 has to do.... Is this "problem" even worth factoring into the equation in my situation?.... I am by no means a videophile with an incredibiliy kean eye for this kind of stuff. I doubt i would ever notice it's effect... But then again, i have not had a chance to compare
