Upgrading a TiVo
I have a TiVo series 1. It came with 14 hours. I have found this appliance to be much more cool than I expected and really appreciate the TiVo now. But I needed more capacity. Here is the link for info:

I added an additional B drive to the unit, leaving the small A drive in there. I could have replaced the A drive with a larger A drive, but for simplicity decided against that for now.
It worked great! I now have over 100 hours on my TiVo. Very nice.
The only thing that was missing on the setup info was that I would get this green screen of death on boot and it was normal. After 30 minutes TiVo came back to life.
