Help with choosing a DVD player

Dear anyone, I want to purchase a new DVD player that is preferably sub £100, and can be remote hacked to make region-free and disable Macrovision. Also, if possible one that has a switching for Pal 60 (or pseudo pal as it is sometimes known). This is to avoid the frame difference effect when backing up a NTSC disc to VHS. Any comments are really appreciated. CHEERS!

I'd suggest the Daewoo 5700/5800.

You can disable the region via the remote, and macrovision via a firmware upgrade done by burning the frimware image directly to CD-R/CD-RW. No fuss, no muss...

You can read about them more here.

They seem pretty cheap. I'd look local 1st. If you're comfortable buying from EBAY, I've seen them clear $70-90 USD + shipping. Buyer beware though as always. I'd prefer getting a non-modded version (cheaper + you can never tell how the pre-modded versions were done).

Good reviews from vcdhelp.com too.
