setting the surround delay time
 
I once had the "formula" for determining the delay time for the surrounds. Well, I've lost it. I'll be moving in another week and I would probably have to readjust it due to a bigger listening room. help!

Your receiver or preamp should have settings for how many feet away your speakers are from the sweet spot and this lets the receiver set the correct delays for each speaker.

But let's say you are using an extra 15 feet of wire to get there...o you add the extra wire length?

The speaker distance settings are for how far the speakers are from the sweet spot. It has nothing to do with speaker wire length.
