IR Redirection?

I am buying a 43" Toshiba 4:3 TV that requires a short stand. However, if I put my components in the stand, my coffee table will block the components so that I can not use the remotes from a sitting position. Other than buying a new coffee table, (which I don't really want to do since I have one of those pop up ones which can be quite handy), or buying a seperate rack for the components (since space is limited), is there anything I can buy that will redirect the IR from the remotes to the components? Such as a sensor that I can attach above the components, that sends the IR down to the components?

This is a bit over-kill but it would get the job done.

Wow! Thanks. $39.95 is cheaper than a new coffee table.

Radio Shack sells a product like the one palebluedot mentioned. I tried it for several weeks, but found it not reliable. I returned them and went with Hot Link Pro. It works flawlessly regardless of where the remote is pointed. It's more expensive, but it works.
