Digital Coaxial Cable Question

Here is a funny question:

Since I have read that you can send a digital output through a standard RCA cable then would it be possible to send it though a wireless video sender? This would be a great way to watch my DVD's in another room with Dolby Digital. What do you think?

If the wireless sender has a digital coax input/output then you can do it.

Have you found such a device?

I haven't seen one that actually has a digital in/out. I am just talking about a typical audio/video 2.4 GHz sender.

Digital is the wrong kind of signal for the transmitter to convert to RF. It's looking for a composite, analog video signal.
