Help - Jaggies using my Progressive player and HDTV?

I have a Toshiba SD-3750 Progressive scan dvd player and a Sony KP-57HW40 HDTV.

I've noticed certain 'jaggie" effects on two seperate occasions, one when playing Jay and Silent Bob, and the other when playing X-Men. The movie starts out crystal clear, then eventually i see scenes in which i can see horizontal "jaggies."

Does anyone know what i am talking about or what can i do?

I don't know if this applies to your TV or your DVD player, but do you have progressive scan turned on?

Well there may or may not be anything you can do. If you have properly set up the player and calibrated the tv it may simply be a case of a bad transfer. Motion artifacts are annoying.
