Question for someone in the Orlando/Daytona area w/DirecTV

I just purchased DirecTV and everywhere I look online says that WB18 is not one of the local channels included, but when I bought it last weekend the sales guy at Circuit City told me that it's been added within the last month. Can anyone confirm this? I gotta have my Seinfeld! Thanks.

I saw that too, but when I asked the sales guy, he said it's been added within the last month, so maybe they're just a little behind updating their website. Either that or the sales guy didn't know what he was talking about.

Art, I live in Palm Bay and I do not receive the WB as a local channel. My Tivo just updated this morning and it is not available. Sorry.

WB18 is an Emmis Communications station. They're being jerks all over the country with regard to DTV coverage.

It's a money play, pure and simple. Their station is free to over the air customers, and to demand additional moneys from DirecTV when DTV bears the costs of transponder space, marketing, backhaul expense, POP expense, uplink expense, and several other categories I could name...well, it's transparent and not defensible.

The cost for Emmis is ZERO with the exception of a broadcast quality off-air tuner and antenna at the DTV POP.
