Center Speaker making noise

My front speaker is making a low-sound noise and I need to constantly adjust the fiber optic cord to make the noise go away. Sometimes it recurs in a couple minutes. Is there a problem with the cord, the receiver, or the speaker? Please help.

I guess the noise must sound like Feedback.

Let's move this to a forum where you might get more help.

You mention the fibre optic cord which is a little confusing. Is this the cord from the a source (DVDplayer) to the receiver?

Or are you referring to a cable from the receiver to the speaker?

I beleive we are talking about the optical(Toslink) cable connected between the DVD player and receiver, right?

If you are correcting the problem temporarily by adjusting the cable I would say the problem is either with the cable or the connection the cable is making.

Try a different cable.
