Question for Sony DVP-S300 owner.
 

I've lost my owners manual and I have forgotten how to program the remote. This model has the big DVD Remote which can also control the TV and the volume on the receiver. I've found the codes for my TV and Receiver on the Sony site, but I can't find out how I'm suppose to enter them.

If anyone knows how I would really appreciate it if you could tell me. I thought it had something to do with holding down the power button while punching in the code, but I can't get it to work.

To change the code for the TV, slide the TV/DVD switch to TV. Hold down the Power button and enter the code for your brand of TV. Release the power button. If there is more than one code for your brand of TV, you'll have to test each one to find out which one works.

It appears that the remote is only capable of controlling Sony A/V receivers. If you own a Sony receiver, there are two-digit codes for assigning the various inputs. Let me know if you need those.
