to anyone who watches dvds on a toshiba 20af41 flat screen television...

do you notice that the bottom of the screen shakes at certain points while watching a dvd?

I imagine your question will be better served and answered in the DVD & Home Theater Hardware forum... Thus, moving.

i have never seen this phenomenon. Try connecting it with better cables, like component video or s-video cables, and make sure you have no speakers next to the tv.

i use an s video connection. i thought maybe it was just my ps2, but then i tried my bro's sony dvd player on the toshiba tv and it basically did the same thing. Have you ever heard anything like this happening?

try plugging everything through a nice surge protector, not an old one that has been lying around the house. Also bump down the contrast to 32 (default is 64) cuz the color and picture quality become alot better and you aren't draining as much power, so that might help with the "shaking" cuz you aren't putting so much strain on the tv.

this is weird i tried out my rush hour 2 dvd and the flickering at the bottom was no longer there. maybe its just my texash chainsaw massacre dvd thats the problem.
