Using Yamaha DSP A-1 as a pre-amp
 

I intend to add a power amp to my HT setup which is below -
Yamaha DSPA1
Dyn Audio 1.3 MKII fronts
Contour Center
Dyn Audio Audience 50 rears
Kefs for the front effect speakers.

Following are the questions:

1. Given the setup will an external amp really improve the quality?
2. Which is the best amp for driving the dyn audios. My budget is between 2K - 3K? More towards 2K due to the wife factor.
3. Best place to buy it?
4. Is it better to have mono blocs?
5. or is it advisable to have multi channel? I use my setup pretty much 50/50 HT/Music
6. Would Solid State be better than Tube Amps?
7. Any other factors information that you would like to share?
