I got suckered into the 100inchtv thing last year. But I must say that yes it "can" work. But you'll need to be very patient (I wasnt) And you'll need a good lens. And Turning your TV upside down with a big ugly box taped to the front of it isnt that good either.

Those are the plans you see people trying to sell on Ebay all the time. It works, with the issues RaptorsFan mentioned. Being blown up that big also makes for a fuzzy picture, just like blowing up a photograph makes it grainy.

If you're looking for something to project against a wall during a frat party, this would probably be a good idea. If you're looking for something to enjoy movies with, probably not
