This System took quite a bit of time to build up……..However, the quality, sound and picture maked this system well worth spending the money for…Nothing was bought at the same time……..Not too many people have the money to buy it all at once..LOL

Thanks for the Posts Guys!!
You may not think its Progressive scan, but if you hook it up to a regular television and then watch it hooked up to a HDTV, you will notice a trememdous difference.I know its easy to believe everything you hear, butyou have to see it for yourself..:-)

No...it's not a true progressive scan DVD player...it has no progressive technology built in and no 3:2 pulldown detection. It also can't detect the MPEG-2 flags DVDs are encoded with. These flags are what tell the DVD player what type the source the DVD is encoded with and how to de-interlace it. The DV-434 has a basic line doubler built in which treats all DVDs the same, when in fact, they are not.
I'm not critizing your choice in players, just pointing out the facts. You would get an even better picture from a true progressive scan DVD player.

It's all good pal..The only reason I have it downstiars is so that I can see my VCD Movies on it..........For the price of 159 bucks, you can't go wrong and its pioneer, which makes one, if not the best DVD's on the Market
