Suggestions on A/V Centers Plz...
I'm looking for suggestions for Audio/Video center setup for friends of mine.
They aren't looking for anything too massive or an enclosed system per se (like an armoire). Minimum requirements:
- Support a 36" TV (since enclosure isn't wanted, more for weight)
- Handle 4 components
- Roughly a $700 budget
I remember seeing about 18 months ago a clean, metal setup (might have been slighly configurable), going for about $400--600, posted on one of the HT forums. Can't find it again.
Found Boltz furniture, this looks along the lines of what I'm initially thinking. Any opinions on them?
Don't want to bias the group here though. Would love to hear suggestions for all kinds actually.

This probably is above the budget amount but I have one for my 36XBR400 and it is the finest piece of A/V furniture I have ever had.

Just headed over to Salamander's site.
Definitely something I'd buy for my own setup, but this may be a bit costly for my friends (at least the Synergy line). I'll eval. the Archetype line too...
Thanks for the suggestions so far. Still curious about Boltz, and other makers (although Salamander will no doubt be a popular choice)

A/V Centers
I looked around and found some nice looking stuff by Plateau. One of the places that I found them at was Sound City. There are probably others, but you can start there and look at them and see if you like what you see and then look for the lowest price on the web. Hope this helps.
