Any opinions on the Daewoo 5000N?

The Daewoo 5000N is now at Sam's Club for $99.

Has anyone bought or used this player?

Still region and macro free?

Any likes, dislikes, complaints, etc.?

TIA

After trying 3 different DVG-3000N models a month ago and could not get any to work trying the region free remote hack. I decided to try the DVG-5000N model. I picked up one at my local Sam's Club this morning and tried the remote region hack and it worked great. But best of all I also was able to copy about 5 different region 1 dvds and this model is also macrovision free.

My serial # is CG19D044XX, I heard most of the ones with CG19J044-99XX are also macrovision free but the ones that start with CG19D0XXX are hit and miss. You need to find the ones with a higher number. Our price is $5 more than the mainland ($104.99) but still a great deal. Now it's time to sell my Sampo DVE-611 I just picked up. It is a region free dd player also but not macrovision free.
