? Tivo - Digital Cable - General Questions ?

I just got Digital Cable and a Toshiba 40H80 Widescreen TV. I am considering buying a Tivo box but have a few questions:

Will Tivo work with Digital Cable?

Do Tivo Boxes have Digital Tuners to get the Digital Channels or does it require an IR Blaster to work the Digital Tuner Box?

Does Tivo have the ability to record two shows at once yet? If so, how does that work with Digital Cable (questions above apply).

I read on the Tivo site that to record Premium channels you needed to use your Cable Box. Should I assume that the included IR Blaster can be used to switch channels on the box for my recordings?

One last question... what are some of the best Tivo or DVR websites out there?

Thanks for any help you may provide.

Yes

You use an IR blaster.

The DirectTiVo does, but it only works with DirectTV. No PVR records two shows at once without sat.

I believe so.

http://www.tivocommunity.com which is at

Ask these questions there and you will get many, much more detailed answers. Or just search the old threads for a lot of info.
