Panasonic A120 freezing up...HELP!

It first started with my Cowboy Bebop disc 1 being locked up and not playing at all.

I bought a "Carbonite" lens cleaner from Radio Shack and it seemed to have cleared up the problem after a few cleanings...

but now...my player is freezing up very often on every disc I've tried.

The player is no longer under warranty.

ANy suggestions?

Time to get a new player ??

thanks for any help.

Is anything stacked on top of the player? If so, move it! The earlier Panasonic players ran a bit hot and, so, cannot have anything at all on top of them because they need a bit of open space over them so the heat can dissipate. When they overheat is when they mess up.
