Short answer is "no." Sony is one of the more difficult brands to modify. There are mod kits available, but they require the replacement of IC chips and you really need to know what you're doing.
The kits can be found in the UK and you should be able to find someone to do it for you. The kits themselves seem to sell for about $125.
