Toshiba 40H80 Problems Need Help!!
Hi I'm new to the board, this is my first post.
I purchesed the Toshiba 40H80 (Theaterwide HD) a while back and everything was fine until recently. Now whenever I watch TV their is a very noticable slant in the picture. This is more noticable when watching a tv show that has black bars on the top and bottom. The picture seems to slant down from left to right. Its very annoying if anyone can help that would be greatly appreciated. Thank you
P.S.- I sprung for the 5 year warentee

If you got the warranty just give them a call.
But it's almost "potluck" with the "expert" that they send out.
Sounds like a Geometry issue. Go check out the hometheaterforum for a lot of help on this issue. They usually get into detail.
If you can spring for ISF calibration (about $350) do that.
Because they would not only fix that but make your set REALLY SHINE.
But I would first go the route of calling your warranty guy, especially if you don't feel comfortable going into your service/designer modes on your tv.

Thanks a lot for the help!! I did call Toshiba which was plan B anyway. I also checked out some geometry threads which helped a tad too. I'm looking into ISF callibration too. Thanks for the idea
