Speaker stands and cable recommendations...
 

Hey there,
Anyone have any recommendations on some cool speaker stands? I'm looking for some stands for rear bookshelf speakers.

Also, anyone have any opinions on Carol Command 12GA speaker cable? I need to run something to my rear speakers and don't know if I should go with this or the cheaper 12GA for $35/100ft at Parts Express. The money isn't a factor but quality is.

AudioReview.com - now Consumerreview.com has several ferocious and sometimes outstanding scientific links (from the argument, excuse me - discussion threads) to go to regarding the whole cable issue. I used standard 12 ga for VERY long runs and it worked out great with no loss measured in sound, clarity and feed. I went to an electrical store outlet that 500' reels of the stuff and got a very good price for 200'.

Too expensive to do one of those "try several cables out and see if if you can hear the difference - (another intense argument in itself) so the research threads/webpages thru the consumer site helped a great deal..good luck
