Connections with Sony S-Link problems

I am having trouble getting my Sony S-Link hookup to work.

My DVD player and AV receiver are both behing cabinet doors. Therefore I want to link my TV to these components.

I have tried just about every configuration ( obviously I have missed at least one configuration because I have been unable to get it to work) and still no luck.

My components are all S-Link components:
TV- KV36FV15
DVD - DVPS330
Receiver - STR-DB930

I am able to control my DVD player with remote from the AV receiver through the daisy chained link to the dvd player, but for some reason I cannot control the receiver itself.

Any thoughts?

I have already checked out the s-link site at Sony and did not get much out of it.

http://www.sel.sony.com/SEL/consumer/s-link/faq.html

Does anyone know another site that may have s-link FAQ?

Any help would be appreciated. I am tired of having to watch movies with the door of my entertainment center open.

Q- What products comprise a complete S-Link™ control system with audio and video equipment?
A- A complete S-Link control system is comprised of audio and video equipment. Audio products may be equipped with - and therefore can communicate through - the Control A1 function. Video products may be equipped with - and therefore can communicate through - the Control S function. An S-Link Receiver - which includes both the Control A1 and Control S functions - is also required in order to control both audio and video products.
It appears to me that you can control other video products through the TV, and it might mean that you cannot control audio products through the TV?
