Sony KV-36XBR450
I'm interested in the Sony KV-36XBR450 and I want to know if the XBR series are good? If so, can someone tell me where I could get a good price on it?

I don't own one but if you are going to buy at a local B&M (HiFi Buys, Circuit City) the cheapest I have been able to find so far is $2,250. If you want to try and save a few bucks check out the 36HS20 that Sears sells. You might be able to get them to pricematch a website for around $1,950. Best Buy also carries that model and you could use a 10% off preferred customer coupon to get it down to $2,070 there. Good Luck.

I have the XBR 200 and am about to upgrade to the 450. If my 200 is any indication, a superb line. Every T.V technician I speak to raves about the XBR series. Also, Except for the 16:9 screen size, this set is as close to "future proof" as you are going to find. Check this out.....

Speed and Sound in New York has the 36XBR450 for $1995. You could print out the order page and take it to Sear's, Tweeter,Circuit City or any other local B&M to see if they will price match. The link is: http://www.speedandsound.com/sonykvnewmodc.html
