I could have sworn that the smallest non-lcd Widescreen TVs made were 27", but I've now searched 5 or 6 major online electronics retailers (800, Bestbuy, Circuit City, Amazon, Crutchfield, and more) and can't find anything smaller than 32".
Is this right, or do I just need to look elsewhere?
If 27" WS TVs don't exist, am I right in my assumption that a Sony 27" FD Trinitron® Wega™ Stereo Color Television KV27FS17 - http://www.800.com/prod.asp?p=5436& - is probably the best way to go for a 27 incher?
Any suggestions and/or help would be much appreciated! TIA!

You should keep in mind that because of the way TVs are measured (diagonally), a 32" widescreen TV will be approximately the same height as a standard 27" TV (approx. 16-18" high).
