I went to watch my copy of Das Boot again yesterday but something was wrong weth the primary audio track (German). I could hear all the secondary background noises (car engines, bottles breaking, party noise, etc.) but the dialogue can not be heard. When I switch to the english dub track, the dialogue is fine. I thought there was a problem with the disk. I watched Clerks later and all the audio tracks were fine. This morning I got Harlock Saga and Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon. The Japanese, English, and Commentary tracks on Harlock all worked properly. When I put in Crouching Tiger, the same problem I had with Das Boot began. The English, French, and Commentary Tracks all work ok, but the Mandarin track doesn't. I can only hear secondary noises. I tried new audio cables, adjusting the audio settings on the player from the set up menu, and the audio settings on the tv. I tried another anime title (Lain) and again all the tracks on that were fine. Has anyone else experienced or heard of this problem?
