I know this is not DVD related, but since there seem to be so many talented and experience members I have a small experience question. Will the optical connection between my Sony CD player and Sony A/V Receiver(STR-DE545)make that much difference over the RCA hookup?
Thanks

Dr. Dank,
Yea I have the component video connected from DVD player to Wega TV and coaxial audio to the Receiver. I just skimped on the CD connection, but not after tomorrow.
