My Panasonic DVD-Player can't read CD-R/RW cause it's only got one "reading-head".
I know that you need 2 heads - like on Pioneer players - to read R/RW, but why can my
5 year old CD-Player then read Audio-CD-R? It has just one head!? Whould it help to use
special CD-R with a silver-surface, where the reflexion properbly is better? Or is there an
other solution to get my Panasonic player to read CD-R/RW? No I don't want to by a new player... ;-)

First, your CD player can read the CD-Rs because the laser is "tuned" for CD playback. DVD players that have dual discreet optical pickups, like you said, also have a decdicated laser "tuned" for CD playback and a DVD laser. DVD players with only one pickup are not "tuned" and have a harder time refocusing.

I think that most CD-Rs are incompatible, but I have heard that certain brands work in certain players. So you should be able to find at least one brand that works most of the time.
