I tried to purchase a Pioneer D509S at the BestBuy in Salem, N.H. last weekend and was told by the salesperson that this model had been discontinued. It has been replaced by a model 510S. Anyone know is this is correct? I'd still like to get the D509S.

The 510 is an additional model, not a replacement model. The 509S still list as current model at Pioneer web site.
