And personally, since I got both codes for LOT S2 and Flash S3 from the same guy, I think I just got lucky. But it can't hurt to keep trying

i'm trying to buy a code(s) from another country that he says will port to my US Vudu no problem. is this true? and is this legal?

With a VPN you are changing your Ip to match the country of origin of the code. It was used for flixster and Canadian codes and UK Codes. Is it legal not sure what the verbiage is but I many many people used vpn to redeem codes. I know some codes to port but I'm not a expert I would say have the seller let you try first so your not stuck with a foreign code if it doesn't work.

Currently selling off an extra HD code for Sing. I already have it on 4k and digital and have watched it twice...my kid freaking loves it and I honestly do as well. Extremely well made. I'll let it go for $2 or a straight up trade if you want.

Also this week (Looks like Saturday right now), I should be getting Split and Van Helsing 4ks...and since I have Split on digital already and Van Helsing I believe is M2D (even if its not, I'll live)...I'll have a couple of spare codes. Since these can be redeemed in UHD (Through FandangoNow I believe), I'll let them go for $6 a piece or both for $10. I don't have them yet, but if you are interested...let me know.

That's fine. Wifey really wants to watch it and I'm a fan of Kumail so wanted to send feelers out early.

It's a weird trend though. I've seen this happen a lot recently where I have to wait for the actual bluray release date before redeeming a code for a movie that has been available in iTunes for a few weeks.

It's just for exclusives. They are active as UV codes when the physical releases hit stores and the exclusive window ends. Baby Driver is that way now being available on Vudu as an exclusive.

Exclusive in what sense though? Both Baby Driver and Big Sick are available on iTunes right now.

I think they're "digital exclusives." A lot of films are getting released on digital platforms first, a few weeks before the physical release.

I'm betting most all UV codes are only good after the release date of the physical release, but it's only recently that titles have become available digitally before the physical release. Previously, you wouldn't even try activating the code on Vudu/iTunes before the physical release date, because the title wasn't even listed.
