These DVDs have confused me for the longest time. The prices for them new vs. even used and like new are pretty far apart. I had them all individually for years, kept them sealed since I never got around to them, and sold them for $75 to $100 each, then just the other day finally got a buyer for Limelight at $80.

One seller dictates a price and then others follow suit. These have been out of print for awhile now.

Criterion will eventually release all of his films but until then I guess people want to overpay for old mediocre transfers.

And yet no one is buying the Criterion version of Ran for $40. That's a good price for a great movie. I'd buy if I didn't already have it.

Lowered from $45 tp $40. This DVD is OOP and rare. It isn't an ex rental or scuffed up copy. $40 is a very reasonable price for it, considering that was the original MSRP price on it.
