WANTED: Gatchaman
I'm looking to complete my series of Gatchaman box sets(Alex Ross covers).
For some reason, set 6 & 7 are both ridiculously priced at all the normal places(Amazon, eBay, etc.). IMO, the scarcity of these sets has been artificially manufactured. Someone actually has the nerve to list one of the sets for over $1,000 on Amazon.
I have been dragging my feet in completing the 9 box set but I had never noticed set 6 or 7 being any harder to find than 8 or 4 or whatever. Maybe they are but there's no way I'm going to pay these ridiculous hike-up prices for them.
It seems every week there's a complete set (1-9) on eBay so it's not like 6 & 7 are impossible or even necessarily difficult to find. Someone's just sitting on them is my guess.
Anyway, I thought I'd throw out a request and see if I get lucky.
