Perfume Wooden Box 'Smell' LE can be found in some German online stores. Costs around 50 Euro. Or you can try eBay. LotR box is OOP clearly, so eBay is your only option, but prepare to sell your kidney - the only box listed there now (and it have been there for a long time already) costs about $1500

I used to sell my kidneys, and I usually got about $800 a piece ($1500 for the set) on average. That would be enough to get the box. proper_gander, if you get your kidneys graded, I've seen a CGC 9.8 kidney go for over $2000!

I try to keep up on some of those international box sets, but I've never heard of the perfume LotR set. How interesting.

He didn't say -perfume LotR- set, there is an "or" in there.

There's a German release of the film Pefume that comes with 5 bottles of actual perfume (issued by Thierry Mugler) or something like that. That's probably what the OP is talking about.

First of all, the LOTR wooden chest was made as a "promotional" product and not for retail. However, for some reason it became popular to LE collectors back in 2005.

Dont be naive when getting one (meaning its not that expensive)...

the LOTR wooden boxset are now scattered in a cheap price (since the Taiwan manufacturer of the said set mass replicated it)
