I just bought the 2 disc standard SE set in store a few days ago. They had two copies at Borders, I knew it was out of print, and I had a few Borders bucks. I think the only reason they were still there is they were filed under Z. It was $25 list, but would've been more like $27 with Bay Area sales tax (though less with the discount). So, a few are still out there, but only if you look creatively and get lucky.

Believe it or not, the HD-DVD version is more desireable because it doesn't have the audio drop out issue. I have both and they look really close to the same, but the HD-DVD version has a better audio track with no audio dropouts. The special features are not in Hi Def. They had rows of the SD edition at Best Buy 3 days ago.

I saw a pic of the Collector's Edition, which looks interesting, and I haven't unwrapped my standard SE yet. So, if it is still available, I'd like to upgrade. I will round up a trade list and PM it soon (I may also purchase, if the trade doesn't work).

Be careful with the collector's edition. The thin outside box does not protect the contents inside very well. The standard case on the SE also looks much better (IMO).
