I'm looking for both volumes of Scooby Doo Where Are You?. I don't have much to trade, my Big Lots isn't very well stocked. Might be able to get ahold of Flintstones season 2, Wacky Races, Popeye volume 1 or a few other things, but they don't have much. Yeah, people are really "piece of shit hoarders" for trading DVD's. :sarcasm:

If I were on eBay trying to peddle "Looney Tunes: The Golden Collection" for 10x the price, maybe. I really doubt new board members are buying multiple copies of "Huckleberry Hound" as part of some grand get rich quick scheme.

Totally agree with marctheknife. I mean I really didn't have time to post on DVD message boards because I spend a lot of time on sports and music, those are two things I'm highly opinionated on. Just because I never joined this message board until recently doesn't mean I haven't been reading all the posts and finding all the deals for several years, almost 3 years. I just don't like being caled a piece of shit hoarder. I mean I wouldn't have started posting on here if I didn't think I could help people out on things they couldn't find in they're area, while getting things I couldn't find as well. Not everyone can be grouped into little categories for your pleasure Ravenous, so don't call all posters with under 100 posts pieces of shit. That's all I'm saying, because in my neck of the woods, those are fighting words.

^+1 I've been a longtime follower of this site/forum, mainly for reviews of Blu-rays and HD DVDs. I'm active on several other movie forums, that's why I never signed up for this one. But I was able to grab a pretty good haul in this Big Lots sale, which I found out about from another group, so I signed up thinking I could help some people fill out their collections -- and maybe fill a couple of holes in mine. I've already made one trade here and hopefully a couple of more. If that offends some people because I have less than 100 posts, well, there's not much I can do about that. You gotta start somewhere. Anyways, I've got several BL items that aren't in demand, apparently, and I plan to just take those back to the store. If I have something someone here wants, I hope the fact that I'm new doesn't keep them from inquiring about a trade.

As a newbie, of course I agree with U2Cowboy and House13 agreeing with marctheknife. Though people are obviously buying multiple copies, none of them have much resale value so I wouldn't call such people names. After seeing the trading going on I thought I'd do it too because it's impossible to find every set I want in the stores in a particularly area. I don't think anyone is bad for doing that. I also know that people are discovering some of their duplicate purchases are getting no interest so they will be returning those to Big Lots within 30 days, whereas others get a lot of interest and they probably wish they had bought more. It's hard to know up front, so you buy an extra of each to see what happens. There should be a new flood of some of the older unwanted titles soon as we're about 3 weeks into the start of the $6 deals.

For a serious question, has anyone actually seen any of the following DVDs for sale at a Big Lots? A lot of people put them on their want list, but I have yet to see anyone with them on their have list.
