DVDKiNG2005 10-03-05 11:57 PM

Yeah i can't do that, i've already tryed to explain, im in scotland right now and my dvds are back home in Canyon lake, my friend who is looking after the place for me, while i visit my dad here in scotland, works during the day and can't drive into san diego to meet someone for dvds....thanks though.

OK.....
You're brand new here, I'm a Gold Trader.
How about you send first, then I send payment on receipt of the DVDs.
That's pretty standard practice in a situation like this.

I am interested in the following. Please provide details on quality and region etc:

Dirty Rotten Scoundrals
Jeepers Creepers
JFK (Is this the 2 Disc directors cut)
Planet of the Apes (Is this the original version 2 Disc)
Pltaoon
Quiz Show
Solaris (Is this the remake)
The Godfather Collection

If you could also provide me with a price breakdown and how much you would charge for all together i would appreciate it. Please email me at: [email protected]

Cheers

OK...I have not heard back from you..here is the easiest solution-I drive to where the dvds are...I send you paypal from there-on your friend's computer-then I drive away with dvds..if that is not reasonable-I do not know what is..sent ya email also

SpartanStew had purchased DVDs from him, then the guy turns around and tries to sell me teh exact ones that he supposedly had already sold. I'm calling BS.

Well it's obvious now what kind of trader this one is...

Here's hoping no one was ripped off.

IamLegend 10-08-05 04:25 PM

I offer to drive wherever..no response

Inigo_Montoya 10-08-05 07:12 PM

Heads up regarding what happened on a UK forum here

http://www.avforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=245216

I'd be VERY wary about buying off this person

I'd be interested to know if anybody actually gets what they paid for

Daniel-A 10-08-05 08:08 PM

Thanks for the heads up Inigo. I never understood why he wanted PayPal payment. I sent an email to PayPal asking what would happen if he was fraudulent, they replied that a claim could still be filed and you would likely get your money back. Worst scam evar. And a waste of time.
