Disc Condition: DVD 1 has some very faint scratches you can only notice if you look carefully; DVD 2 is pristine and mint; insert and cover are perfectly flat with sharp corners-- pristine. I would call this more like new than very good. I picked it up at EB for $14.99-- too good a price to pass up, as I'm sure someone would be intersted in this to fill out their Criterion Collection... at the very least.

Just for everyone's info - the reviewer at the site is incorrect, this DVD is not anamorphic. Still supposed to be a great transfer though.

Well, I ordered one - and I was planning on posting it here when the item actually ships. Unless that site uses real-time inventory (not many do), I figure there is a good chance that those two copies were gone long before you ever posted here.

I have gotten excited about too many great deals - Aladdin for $10.95 shipped, Blues Brothers still showing at DDD for $9.35 long after it was OOP, etc - which later got cancelled because they were sold out.

That site does use real-time inventory...
