Blu-Ray Enrollment Titles?

Re: Blu-Ray Enrollment Titles?
Unless they were so overwhelmed with Blu-ray orders that they are taking a break until they can re-stock (wishful thinking on my part).
Or maybe they were just testing the waters.

I don't know what to tell you guys. I just successfully processed an application for the following Blu-rays-
Red Hill
Easy A
Broken Embraces
The White Ribbon
Nanny McPhee
The Strangers
Once Upon a Time in Mexico
All titles were listed as in stock with the lone exception of The Strangers.

EDIT: I'm using Firefox with the cookie for my current account deleted.

Crazy, I just cleared all the cookies on firefox and it is working now. I sent email to cancel other two accounts don't know if I should chance it and try and open another one while it is working

They are indeed the Blu-rays(I'm not quite that feebleminded just yet). The strange thing is that the Blu-rays were gone this morning when I was on AOL. Now they are back. I just saw that a poster over at blu-ray.com also has them showing up for him. I just hope that this wasn't a glitch and they send me the SD DVDs instead of the Blu-rays.

I went on the site to start a new account and they were showing up as members only for me. I cleared my cookies though and it's fine now, and was able to place an order for all blu-rays.

^Kinda OT, but I just caught Moon on my day off this afternoon. Hadn't heard of it for some reason before today. Really an unexpected treat. Good choice.

That's weird. I wonder why it's showing up for some and not others? Did you guys clear cookies first or did it show up anyway? I've tried chrome,IE and Firefox and nothing on any of them

Cleared cookies and the Blu-rays are still showing up as members only.

I wonder if it has something to do with physical location. I have heard of this before where a web-site uses your ISP's location, etc to adjust what is and isn't offered. Which is funny as I have went to web-sites and had them default to cities that are 50+ miles away from me... and thought.. how did they even get that close..

Looks like you were correct! 6 out of 7 of my enrollment titles now show shipped dates. 3 of them said 'backordered' since I enrolled 2 weeks ago, 3 had 'expected by' dates of the first week of May. Then all said backordered a few days ago, and now they are shipped. Originally I thought the 'expected by' titles would be the first to show up, as simply saying backordered could mean anything or nothing. So when they all switched to backordered, I thought all the titles were in trouble. But turns out your optimistic view was the correct one. Thanks!
As for the loss of BDs for enrollment: count me in the group that can't get them anymore. I guess I'll try computers elsewhere in case it has something to do with my IP address, but that's a longshot. I guess it really WAS too good to be true...

Re: Blu-Ray Enrollment Titles?
It's just Columbia House enrollment procedure: everything is listed as backordered until at least all but one of one's enrollments are in stock. Only "backorders" with dates are really backordered. Once the dates disappear the credit card should get a real charge, as opposed to an earlier temp charge, and the package is shipped.
