Re: Blu-Ray Enrollment Titles?

Man this sucks. I was getting close to getting caught up on watching the blu rays I bought. I still have about a dozen unopened DVD's from all the CH accounts in the past.

Re: Blu-Ray Enrollment Titles?

Wow, my order of earlier tonight is already listed as shipped, that completes my fulfillments.

One of my free DVDs (Serpico) is coming up as backordered. I hope I get it since it's an OOP Paramount.

If for some reason they can't fill my request for this title, does anyone know if they'll let me pick another freebie? For the DVDs I tried to pick titles where a region A Blu-ray is unlikely to be released soon. (I know Serpico is out in Europe on BD). I'm not just using them as throwaways or for trade; these are titles I'd actually like to watch or own but which are not on BD at the moment.

How are you paying only around $50? Is there a free shipping coupon?

Yes, you are entitled to another freebie. You should stay on top of it, as sometimes CH does not communicate the change in status, and your Order History will show "cancelled" until you initiate the replacement action.

Re: Blu-Ray Enrollment Titles?

Started my first account in a while. Ordered:

Before the Devil Knows You're Dead
Pan's Labyrinth
Babel
the Thing
Eastern Promises
Maltese Falcon
Treasure of Sierra Madre
Army of Darkness

Scrolling through the enrollment list I can easily find another 30 or 40 I've held off getting waiting for cheaper prices. Gonna be a busy couple months

Your order hasn't really shipped until they put a date next to each title. It will probably ship on Monday.

Re: Blu-Ray Enrollment Titles?

Seeing all these people whose enrollment orders being shipped and not 1 title from either of my accounts being shipped is driving me crazy. Only 3 of the 16 movies I ordered have an in stock date available.

The 8 titles for enrollment cost about 23 and change.. Then my first order, was about 30 with shipping but was 1 blu and 2 dvd .

So 9 blu and 2 dvd for about 50$

i'm assuming the glitch worked in your favor and counted one of your dvds as a commitment title

I have no idea! I haven't even gotten an account # and neither my enrollment order nor my other order is showing up. Guess I'll find out within 72 hours.

So thus you probably need to be saying 10 blu's and 4 dvd's for about $85 when all is said and done. Don't get ahead of yourself unless like me you do get lucky and have 1 Blu purchase count as 2 for some reason and your fulfillment is reached

Someone on blu-ray.com was saying that they ordered a $29.99 title (Breaking Bad S2) and it counted as 2 commitments, so either it's an occasional glitch, or CH has lowered the threshold for commitments.

I wonder if it is counting the MSRP price for the fulfillment part of being 2 titles myself? My account that the "glitch" happened on was for Despicable Me which the MSRP is $39.95 but I only paid $23.9* for.

Re: Blu-Ray Enrollment Titles?

Holy shit this deal seems to good to be true! Ended up with 10 Blu Rays and got 2 free Criterion DVDs with the code for $78 total and my commitment is filled! Now you're saying I can just cancel and do it all over again?!

Final Haul:
Once Upon a Time in America
The Exorcist
All the President's Men
Lost in Translation
The Truman Show
Psycho
LA Confidential
Treasure of the Sierra Madre
Leon: The Professional
Silence of the Lambs
The Ruling Class (Criterion DVD)
Hamlet (Criterion DVD)

$6.50 a disc. Insanity.

Yes. This is often the case with box sets at special sale prices.

Re: Blu-Ray Enrollment Titles?

I think all those backordered ones w/o a date are simply being held until the ones with a date come available.
