are we still allowed 2 accounts?

I received this email today;

Dear Member,

Thank you for letting us know that you have been enrolled twice in our
Club.

Your active account number is ****43536. We have cancelled the
duplicate account ****68403. You may receive up to two additional
notices indicating that you need to respond. However, the featured
selection will not be sent automatically.

We do not maintain more than one account for the same address, so as to
avoid possible confusion with shipping instructions and payments.

We apologize for any inconvenience you may have experienced.

If we may be of further service, please don't hesitate to contact us.

Anyone else been having trouble getting a second account set up?

I just signed up for a tv account a week ago, and I already have one, plus I have one currently in the dvd club. Maybe you are using a login name that you have already used? Or maybe the customer rep is confused on policy.

Here is my reply to "How many accounts is one allowed to have";

Dear Member,

We prefer to service one account per member.

You may have additional memberships as long as the accounts are
maintained and all obligations are fulfilled on each.

We reserve the right to limit memberships or cancel existing accounts if
we feel enrollment obligations are not being met.

If we may be of further service, please don't hesitate to contact us.

I don't know if the customer rep is confused,but I sure am.
I tried enrolling for a second account(this one ships to my address)and at first,it looks like it had been accepted.I was able to log in and see that my account status was provisional.
Since than,I have not been able to log in,I was told that the account number included in my "Now that you have been granted access.."email,and can not even get to the point in the enrollment process where I am asked for payment info.
Yet,it looks like my enrollment for a 3rd account using my Aunts address,was accepted(they gave me an account number and it says that my enrollment selections have been shipped).
Stranger still is that while i thought I had 3 accounts for my Aunts address,I am only able to log in to two of them...I can only assume that my second account was canceled(I cant log in and they no longer send emails for that account),even though I am pretty sure I still had not paid for the enrollment selections ordered with that account.
