On my account, if I add a DVD to my shopping cart, then it gives me 15% off everything in the cart - even Blu-rays!
Where do you see the triple bonus points? I'm looking on my account it doesnt state bonus points before or after I type in the code. Is there a different code?

Here's the code associated with the e-mail they sent me this morning announcing the triple points...

The blu-ray version is no longer listed on CH's site. They only have the DVD version now.

I (hopefully) got it straightened out late last week.

Since I opened a new account with the "Bill Me" option, they would not ship it since I did not have a card on file. Found this out when I emailed them last week inquiring when it was coming back in stock. Maybe it had something to do with it being a large set.

After adding a form of payment to my account and waiting a couple of days, I emailed them again since it was still showing "backordered". They processed it and it is now showing "shipped".

So hopefully it will be the right set. If not, back it goes and I will just order it from somewhere else.

It worked on my account, but I could not put together anything worthwhile. The 15% only covers the shipping for the most part. So there wasn't much of a discount.

Had been contemplating ordering the Friends BD set, but after reading on Amazon that it is not the extended episodes, I may just hold off on it.

I've never checked myself, but does anyone know what you have to do to get the "$10 cash back on this purche" offer that always pops up when you place an order with CH? I figure it's some gimmick like subscribing to Netflix or some other service.

^Yes, it's a "gimmick" offer. One of those sign up for a "service" offers with a free month after which they'll bill you for subsequent months if you don't cancel within 30 days. I've never looked into just which offer it is as those type things are typically more of a hassle than they're worth.

It's been a long time since I looked into just which offer, and it's probably changed since then, but it sounded like more of a hassle than it was worth.

$4.99 flat shipping right now. Good for those sitting on bonus points.

The 4.99 flat shipping doesn't play to bonus points. Already tried.

You have to buy one item first and then you can add all of the bonus point titles that you want and the shipping for the entire order will be $4.99.

Re: Columbia House Sale Offer Codes, Part VI

Wow.. Have 13 items in the cart.. Total is $13.96.

Debating on pulling the trigger, but wondering if there will be a better sale in December.

Re: Columbia House Sale Offer Codes, Part VI

I'm gonna wait.. Did some thread re-reading.. With a one cent shipping code previously offered, I have a feeling a better sale will drop later on. Plus, something about preorder BP purchases scares me.

Re: Columbia House Sale Offer Codes, Part VI

I am sitting on 156 points in one of my accounts and not sure what to order. Too many exclusives for new release titles to pre-order those. May hold off and see what's added in the coming weeks before deciding.

Re: Columbia House Sale Offer Codes, Part VI

Finally received my Bond 50 set. Thankfully it is the BD set. Now to spend the 36 Bonus points so I can close that account and re-open a new one.

Ummmm.. Every single blu ray, including sets are SIX DOLLARS!

Unfortunately, the flat shipping code doesn't seem to stack.

I take that back.. Sets disqualify the flat shipping price. Everything else is in play!

Jump on this now!

OH MAN, this is some crazy sale.

Alfred Hitchcock Masterpiece Collection for $5.95?

Did I-Deals start running CH's site?

Re: Columbia House Sale Offer Codes, Part VI

So, part of me says not to take advantage of such an obvious glitch on their website.

Another part of me says "F' it" and go for it. Who knows, I might get lucky.

But really, what are the chances that they would actually honor the obvious flood of orders that they are going to receive because of this?

I know they've honored price glitches and other errors on their site before, but it would be pretty extraordinary for them to let any orders from this fiasco go through.
