Sometimes it is better not to post deals all over to keep them working. This deal with clearance was posted on this forum awhile ago and continues to work when it is only discussed here. The buy 2 get 1 was discussed for at least a year with no problems until people started to post it elsewhere.
Unfortunately, posting here is the same as posting it elsewhere. There will always be someone who reads about a great deal here and posts it on another board. And vice versa. Other great deals posted elsewhere end up here. If you find a deal that's so good and you know it must be a mistake and you don't want it to end just yet (like STNG: Complete Series for .49) then your only option is to keep it to yourself until you've used it as much as you want.

The buy 1 get 2 deal was discussed here frequently for a long time with no problems. Until it hit these other boards during the blu ray enrollment period. The volume from the other boards killed the code that had worked for a long time.

Any good Clearance titles? I checked and a lot of the good ones were priced at 14.99 so I'm guessing they wouldn't work.

Happens with any great day. It will end at some point they had to know it was active all that time before but just ignored it.

Do you mean you bought 2 other clearance titles and they were the freebies, or did you somehow get those two for 8.03 together?

The clearance title does count towards fulfillment, right?
I need to buy 2 titles,so if I can spend just a little over 16 bucks to close my account, than I will certainly jump on this deal.

No, selections have to be $19.95 or more to count.

Order #1
Watchmen Director's Cut $8.73 (CLEARANCE ITEM, ENTER IT LAST)
The Conspirator $0.00
TOTAL:$8.73

Order #2
Jesse Stone: Innocents Lost $11.48
Transformers: Dark of The Moon $0.00
TOTAL:$11.48

My cousins brother in law has already gave me $20 for Watchmen & Transformers 3 so I only be out .21 cents for the other 2.

Re: Columbia House Sale Offer Codes, Part VI

I would enjoy enjoy these sales more if I could find any DVDs I want. I typically only buy a DVD if it's not available on BD.

Yeah, the clearance DVDs really don't have much that were priced at 19.99. The 14.99 priced ones, though, have a few I'd like but I guess the discount does not work on those =/

Re: Columbia House Sale Offer Codes, Part VI

Anyone have CH DVD recommendations? I like foreign films, documentaries, classics, etc. They don't have to be clearance titles; I just prefer there not be a BD available.

They have Flame and Citron. Inspector Bellamy. Cracks. "X"
Cracks is a good chance to see a favorite, Eva Green in a real acting role.
Happiness is a warm blanket is a really great new Peanuts cartoon. There is a BD available but the quality difference maybe minimal.
"Room in Rome" is a another title off the beaten path.

Do you like classic Kung Fu? CH has the Funimation Shaw Brothers titles and the only one that is available on Blu-ray is Opium and the Kung Fu Master.

Re: Columbia House Sale Offer Codes, Part VI

I went with [REC] 2 as the freebie DVD and Papillon BD to fulfill my account... Haven't seen [REC] 2 and figured it was worth a spin on DVD to see if I want to pick up the Canadian BD release of the [REC] films.

What's the difference between Canadian and US?

Re: Columbia House Sale Offer Codes, Part VI

Something is wackey with CH this morning. I also used code 20110929BGFT1D and ordered 2 DVDs at $11.48 each. After the code I got charged $11.48 for 1 the other free with no SH the way the code is suppose to work. I went to checkout and it wouldn't accept my credit card, so I paid with Paypal which used the same credit card and it worked. Paypal said it paid $8.03 for the order not $11.48, but the CH receipt indicated that I paid $11.48. I'll go with the Paypal charge.

That's how mine did. But my email and the receipt on the website both say 8.03. Couldn't get it to work again though tried early this morning.

15% off plus triple bonus points...

20111007FPST3D1

Appears to also work on Blu-rays and Sets, if you include at least one regular DVD in your order (glitch?).

Does anyone know of a B1G1 code that's currently active?

New sale going on (code is 20111014BBT1D)
2 DVD's for $25, 3 for $33, 4 or more for $10 each.
Shipping for up to 10 titles (including BD's and box sets) is a flat $4.99

Re: Columbia House Sale Offer Codes, Part VI

I received an e-mail this AM from CH with a B1G1 free offer attached but haven't been able to get the cart to recognize the code. Is anyone else having this problem?

Re: Columbia House Sale Offer Codes, Part VI

The mailing I received yesterday has an offer for a free Entertainment book (Saving Spree, not the full edition). I haven't tried yet to see if I can get to work online.

It's working for me now. It wouldn't give me anything for free this morning but it does seem to be fixed now.
