I was holding out for FS as well but I just received an e-mail from CH saying "Last Chance" to use the code...

I have around six accounts, I love it, ha.
Yeah I posted at blu-ray.com that I couldn't get it to work either. I have one more account that is available. Once you add the Olive BD and then the coupon, the next Olive BD only takes off the 50%. You can't re-enter the coupon because the only available option is cancel.

Is there a trick to this Brent L? Did you get it to work on multiple accounts. Please spell out EXACTLY what you did. Thanks.

Re: Columbia House Sale Offer Codes, Part VI

The code is working twice per account for me so far. I've picked up the first 3 seasons of Mad Men for $3.96 each, The Hills Have Eyes (1977) for $3.96 and Psycho for $4.96. Still trying to figure out what to get for my last selection. Strange, but season 4 of Mad Men is only showing up as the DVD version for nearly the same price.

Edit to add: Decided to go with Caught as a blind buy from the list above for $2.99.

All three accounts -- only 1 use for me.

Strange how it's not the same for everyone. Of course, I did try a 3rd time, which produced a "not valid" message.

And in typical unpredictable CH fashion, I've already received shipment notification e-mails on 4 of my 6 orders.

300 Rise just shipped, but still no LEGO 3D, so I called them. They said it is backordered until July 11. Whether or not they can stick to that date is anybody's guess. History says probably not...

Buy 2 Blu-rays, get 1 free has returned. Hopefully they will add free shipping before the week is up.

They just announced on their FB page that they've added free shipping to the deal. Good through this weekend.

Re: Columbia House Sale Offer Codes, Part VI

So I placed a couple of pre-orders knowing that with Columbia House that is just begging for terrible service. Much to my delight I am still waiting for a movie released almost a month ago to even be shipped out.

How can this place stay in business? If it wasn't for the bonus points making these two items virtually free I can't imagine ever ordering from them again.

Like Cardsfan111 does above, I've seen mention of a CH Facebook page. Does CH get routinely excoriated for their comically bad service there? I can't imagine it consisting of anything else.

I feel your pain. My VERTIGO order has been "processing" for over two weeks.

Re: Columbia House Sale Offer Codes, Part VI

I am right with both of you...

I am at 4 weeks on one order and 3 weeks on another. I have tried e-mail without a response and today I tried to "chat" with CS but it was a one sided conversation...CH logged me out several times! I guess I am off to FB to complain.

I actually got Vertigo(probably the last copy, sorry), but I've been waiting for The Birds from the same order for a month.

I don't begrudge you for getting VERTIGO. More power to you.

I actually feel rather selfish complaining about most anything having to do with Columbia House* since, as Bill stated, they're essentially giving away product.

*(even though I did receive a notice in the mail Saturday stating that, due to a technical glitch, my payment for two DVDs I ordered in January never went through, and I needed to submit payment again--the issue was entirely theirs, but I double-checked behind them to make sure that they weren't double-billing me)

Re: Columbia House Sale Offer Codes, Part VI

The FB posting did generate a response from CH asking for more info...how hard is it to give me a ship date for my two orders?

EDIT: 4 hours later a CS manager called me to explain that there are delays for my two orders...Lone Survivor ordered on 6-13 and the Lego Movie 3D ordered on 6-22 will both ship on 7-24.

Re: Columbia House Sale Offer Codes, Part VI

If someone told me the awful service of Columbia House was due to the company being run from a shed up in the hills by a couple of hillbillies who were busy trying to evade a crooked county commissioner and his inept sheriff and constantly managing to get caught in the middle of the various escapades and incidents...I'd believe them.

I agree SBJ...

However, what a difference with a post on FB...I have been with CH on/off since the 90's and have never received a phone call from a CS manager and later that day they finally answered my e-mail with the usual BS...

The promised ship date of 7/24 is my birthday...maybe I will get lucky!

They sent me the DVD instead of the Blu-ray for The Raid 2. This ought to be fun trying to resolve.

Re: Columbia House Sale Offer Codes, Part VI

A good CH day. I got someone on the phone and was able to clear up The Raid 2 screw-up. I received a shipping confirmation for Under the Skin. I also see an authorization on my credit card for what has to be Lego 3D. Hopefully that means it's about to ship out.

Re: Columbia House Sale Offer Codes, Part VI

Not sure if it's coincidence or not, but the last few times I've had something not shipped for a few weeks I've sent an email complaint and lo-and-behold that very day it ended up shipping. Probably three times now this has happened. Worth a shot for anyone still waiting for items.
