I received the cancellation e-mail as well. However, I also received cancellation e-mails for Kung Fu Panda and Hotel for Dogs and still ended up getting them. Keep hope alive!

That was $23.96 total (includes $5.99 s/h). So $5.99 extra for FG which now will be free I guess since I got FG the other day and King of Queens has been cancelled on mine too. I was out of town around Christmas the reason I didn't get to post this sooner.

^The way you worded your post I got the impression that the $23.96 was before shipping... anyway, as you indicated with the KOQ set being cancelled you really came out OK unless they decide to charge you for the G1 portion. I consider that very unlikely. So it appears that you're the only one who got a deal on this one, eh?

I'd almost be tempted to complain about the $5.99 shipping charge if I were in your shoes Jim. Obviously, you shouldn't have had to pay for shipping on a set that was cancelled. I say almost, however, since CH is likely to mess something up further as they are prone to do.

The KOQ set dropped off so the $5.99 s/h will most likely drop also, so I'll get the Family Guy DVD for free.

The spoiler has another example of when you order something at full price & it eventually drops off.

I figure it'll most likely be like it was 2 years ago with the MI III, Dreamgirls, and Sleepy Hollow blurays when those dropped off the order and the other DVDs you ordered were free (I got 40 free DVDs and 10 DVDs for $1.99 each during that sale) before they caught on and finally got the blurays of Dreamsgirls & Disturbia which I ended up getting 1 of each and having to sell them. Overall I ended up with around $16 in everything after selling those 2 blurays.

This worked out great since it was a few months before Christmas that year. I got:

I got the cancellation e-mail, but my order history still shows the set as scheduled to ship 1/25. I'm not expecting anything, but one never knows with CH.

Never got cancellation email and still shows scheduled to ship 1/25 here.
They took the money from my Paypal account Mastercard immediately and it's not been refunded as of yet.

Shhhhh, do not call, wait it out.

I sure hope I don't have to try to get my $17.97 back from them though.... ugh.

I thought I found a great deal for a minute today, Get Smart: The Complete Series (obviously the shorter later version) has this in the description:

You get all 138 original episodes of the series, each remastered and restored for flawless clarity, on 25 discs. Pus you get over 9 hours of bonus material, all in a special phone booth collector's box with photos and booklets for each season!


I suppose if one of you wanted to have a ball with CS, you could argue your case and get it for $20.
