Warner Archive club may be coming
Warner Archive sent me a survey saying they are going to start a club and whether I would be interested. The plans they offer suck. Six month committment. 1/month for 17.95, 2/month for $30, 3/month for $40. You can rollover unused purchases. They asked for input into what would interest me in a club. I told them I would go for a members only, $60/month, create your own 5-pack from entire Archive Collection. One 5-pack/month.

I can't get over this commercially selling CD-R, DVD-R thing and now there's going to be a DVD-R club? My hat's off to WB for pulling this off. So, do you think they really do burn on demand or burn a small run? A friend of mine believes they burn to order, but I can't see how that could work.

Maybe they also have plans on the drawing board for bringing back eight-track tape clubs.
I guess we have seen the 'Golden Age' of DVDs come & go.
If they will license the rights to me, I can make a killing selling off my home-taped VHS movies.
