Thanks for the code. I just got 8 Blu-Rays at an average price of $13.67 plus tax with Free Shipping....and earned 8 fun cash points for what that is worth.

This is so awesome. I'm tempted to order more. I want the Matrix Digibook but that seems wasteful seeing as I already own it on HD DVD.

Does it include any new features? Other than the Digibook packaging?

I was thinking the same about the Batman 20th anny. ed. I already have the UK import. I'm probably gonna just hold off.

Tempting deal but I can't find anything I'd want to own that I don't already have on BD or HD DVD. I think I'll save my last fulfillment credit for a few more months to see what new BDs are released. Like some others, I am being more selective with my BD purchases than I was with DVDs.

Re: b1g1free bluray 3/23

I know most of us do not buy SD anymore but you can combine
801490 - b1g1 unlimited
802334 - ??b1g1 unlimited
with the ongoing B1G1 Blu deal. You will be able to take 1 SD DVD for free but you have to pay for the shipping. Wish we had a working B1G1+FS code right now.
Just wanted to let you know if anybody interested in.

Re: b1g1free bluray 3/23

Groundhog Day
Pale Rider
Texas Chainsaw Massacre
Wedding Crashers

$44.17 shipped

Might go back for some of the new Bond titles, but they don't have Goldfinger plus even $13 each seems a bit much after the amazing Amazon deal last fall.

Re: b1g1free bluray 3/23

I have a quick question about preorder items. Is there any way to sneak a pre order blu ray into the B1G1 and if I have a blu-ray preordered can I close the account before that item ships or would it be best to wait?

Re: b1g1free bluray 3/23

What do you mean by "sneak" a pre-order in? I had no problem at all with Big BLU-RAY and Benjamin Button BLU-RAY, both coming out in May.

Re: b1g1free bluray 3/23

It's best to wait until you've received all the movies you ordered before closing an account, just in case there's a problem.

I was able to get a pre-order releasing on 4/20 as a free selection, but it's not guaranteed. Just adding 4 titles to the cart, it was not free, but when I moved all 4 titles to my wishlist, then moved them back to the cart the cheapest pre-order (along with the in-stock title) was free.

Re: b1g1free bluray 3/23

It's been quite a while since I ordered anything from Columbia House. They used to match up the B1G1F with the closest price items, but usually they didn't include pre-orders.

Anyways, I'm trying to add Dexter S1 and Dexter S2, but it's not making one or the other a free one.

Did they change how they match up the free items? I have 12 items in my cart and 6 are free, so it seems like both Dexter's qualify.

Edit: It also used to matter how you put things in your cart. I removed everything but Dexter S1 and S2, but no discount. Nuts.

TV seasons can never be free titles.

I'm bummed that only Moonraker and Never Say Never Again are listed (and as pre-orders for that matter). Where are Goldfinger and World is Not Enough?

Just for these Blu-Ray sales, or in general? I vaguely remember getting B1G1F on TV on DVD box sets back in the day.

It's too bad that most of the Blu-Rays I wanted were $29.96. $15 is on that edge of tossing my hands up in the air and wondering if I really got a deal or not. I ordered 10 Blu-Rays, of which two were $29.96 (I really want to see Tropic Thunder.) Average price of $13.11 for 10.

Stinks that they don't have listings for The Robe or South Pacific yet.

Re: b1g1free bluray 3/23

Kind of disappointed that I ordered a few weeks ago without free shipping but, at the same time, for $10 more, I can deal with still having gotten a great bargain. Even though this deal is awesome, I'm going to resist ordering more, especially after buying four Bonds today.

They probably will be eventually. Hey, it's CH. It doesn't have to make sense.

In general, doesnt matter if BD or SD. I've been opening and closing CH accounts for about 8 years now, and I can't remember a B1G1F on TV sets. If it did happen, I didn't know about it. Or it was long, long ago... They have free shipping on TV sets once in a blue moon, but that's about it. No freebies.

Well, I finally broke down and placed my order. I, too, had placed several orders recently when shipping wasn't free.
But I still found titles to buy. My average isn't as low as most of you. But I got titles I really wanted, even if they were 29.96:

Underworld: Rise of the Lycans $29.96

Spider-Man 3 FREE

Valkyrie $29.96

Punisher: War Zone FREE

L.A. Confidential $21.71

Ghost Rider Extended Cut (Unrated) FREE

Silence of the Lambs $26.21

The Princess Bride FREE

Subtotal: $107.84 (Average $13.48)
