You know, mine has been going back and forth between the 70 and 50% off -- and it seems to be different with different accounts. I wonder if they have to somehow switch it back to 70% to process the 70% orders or something. Anyway, I'm glad the 70% off is working. Love to get the special editions for 7.49. Love. it. I could cuddle with it too, but then I'd have to get a room, and then all the money I'm saving by using this code will be gone.

I agree 100%....I've had an account open for years now, dating back to my "pre-BD"/DVD only days, and I have only been keeping it around for these rare BOGO BD sales now....if they are not coming back, then I'm canceling the account....I have no use for standard DVDs anymore...

You only need buy 1 at the reg price, then can get unlimited ones (at same or lower club price) for 70% off. Works great for me, since I need to buy one more for fullfillment ...... combine that with the free shipping, and I'm quite pleased with the deal.

Columbia House has had some B1G1F sales on Blu-ray Discs in the late winter and spring, so it might try to stimulate sales again in the coming year. Or not. With CH one never knows. I've got one fulfillment left and have been waiting for a B1G1F + Free Shipping deal on BDs. I may have to give up and pair a BD with an unwanted free DVD. But not yet.

Yes, but you'd be better off fulfilling with a B1G1 and blowing off *any* additional selection that will cost more than $4.80 (the imputed cost of a selection for a well optimized account). Anything else will just raise the overall average cost. In my case I have a long standing fulfilled account that I use for the occasional *good* codes (70% off + free ship w/no qualifiers, free shipping on box sets for the under $20 sets, etc.). I was looking to pick up a few $15 and under titles @ 70% off w/free shipping... Having to pick up a ~$20 title to qualify blows the average.

I got 809471 in an e-mail from them today, and it is advertised as you describe (it also doesn't mention the $19.95 minimum purchase normally required on B1G1). However, I cannot get it to do the B1G1 with any combination of format/price/titles.

They were just there for me but I needed to resign in and the option disappeared.


Actually, now I got them to show up again, but they stay at 9.99 in my cart and appear to add 4.98 for shipping.
